Im a little behind in my updates..here we go.

I was in MN for work this week but I had Grandma Peggy all set to come on in....She took care of Link and Limo and they of course love her! I had a few gifts for her for her troubles and we were all set. I got home and it was exciting to see my pups. Limo has grown so much and is such a good little boy. Link of course cried a little when she saw me. I love when she whines a little when she sees me. So cute.

Limo has learned to go outside with Link. They go outside down the trail and do their business. It's ooo funny. Little Limo is just growin up so fast and we adore him SO much. He also has learned to come in after going potty and sit to receive his treat. My good boy.

We have been working really hard with Carson (my horse) these days. His bending to the right has been a difficult task for him but my trainer has gotten on him has tried to desensitize his side. IT WORKED! HE now respects my leg when I ask him to bend. WE still have alot of work to do but we are sure making progress!

This weekend I have a few things going on.....but Im excited to be with friends and family. I have really learned lately who matters most to me no matter what and Im grateful for that. I have connected with some old friends that I have lost touch with and Im so happy to have them in my life. I have let go of some people that were not good for me and I am ready to move on. And I thank God everyday for my health and happiness.

well the first week of the NEW year....ugh.
I have to go to Minneapolis..and Im just waiting for my ride. I like the girl that I am goin with so it will be a fun road trip. I have also started a new years resolution by watchig what I eat..NO MORE sweets.......I need to lose weight and it starts TODAY!! Also my good friend Trixie is mybase of support and encourgement..Im sooo happy I have her!! wahooo!!

After waking up feeling like crap I decided to take the bull by the horns and tackle the FIRST day of the new year sick or not. I did a little (ok a lot) of spring cleaning. Dave and I organized our bedroom and rearranged it. It was soo messy....but we got rid of almost 10 bags of clothes and things to give to charity! I even went through the bathroom and the hall closets....we are "organized" now...and it feels sooo good. I am also doing boat loads of laundry. All of our bedding was washed and I will wash ALL my jackets too! I feel like why not..it's a new year start fresh.

It felt soo good. and my room looks great all rearranged. Feels like a new house.

Jen stopped by and we ate tacos....she got to visit with US and her doggies....its always good to see her!!

So far I love 2009!

Happy New year.....wow it's 2009....pretty crazy. I ran in the new year by falling asleep and Dave waking me up around 11:30.....OOPS!!! I am suffering from a cold though and I am not feeling well. Yesterday I rode Carson and I think that was the worst thing I could have done. I came home and felt like a truck hit me. I am sore all over and my cold has totally peaked. I feel exhausted. Anyway...Dave and I were supposed to go to a party but we never made it last night. Good thing though...I dont' want this cold to get worse.......or spread my germs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's 1 degree outside and Limo just went outside like a big boy and went potty and then came running back inside for his treat! What a good boy!! hahaah

Ok so it's been a month since I have written on this. Limo is doing fabulous!!! Link has settled in with him and Hansen is the BEST big brother cat I have ever seen. WE are totally one happy family. I have such amazng friends that have helped me out with him. Bringing Limo home wasn't easy because of my traveling...but I have had so many people step up to the plate to help that I can't thank them enough!! I have 2 puppy sitters....but one is my favorite. Her name is Peggy....she is in her mid 70s I would say and she goes bythe name.."Grandma Peggy"...she LOVES dogs and lives right down the street. She comes whenever I need her to and helps me out!!! The pups love her and so do Dave and I....Life is great when you have a Grandma Peggy!!

Carson is doing awesome as well. We have moved him into the main asile which mean he gets to roll with the big wigs..I just have to keep up with the Jone's now...but I can swing it. He has improved so much that my trainer actually said that she has seen the best riding come out of me lately!! Very fun!!

2008 has come to an end and Im looking forward to the new year. Lots of travel ahead of me for work but Im ready to tackle it. I am vowing to be more organized and focus. I have a lot on my plate with work, animals, life and school. I need to be able to juggle it all. It tends to get hard but I know I can do it. I may have breakdown moments..BUT...we are all human. I have wonderful friends like Jen, Trixie, and Becca that I know I can lean on and they wont judge me. Sometimes I need another opinion or another outlook on things and I know I can count on them.

Here we go into 2009!!!!

Limo

Our little Limo came home on Saturday Nov. 22nd 2008. He is a 4 month old mini-dachshund. He's black and tan and absolutely adorable. We rescued him from th Dachshund Rescue of North America. I had to drive 4 hours to go get him dow in Illinois. My dear friend Trixie came with me on the long drive. When we arrived at the event that they were putting on we were pleasantly surprised. This was quite the event. These doxie owners get together and bring foster dogs that need homes...things that they made that they want to sell, and they have a silent auction on fun prizes. Trixie and I walk in and we see this tiny little black dog. OMG we were dying! He was less than 10 inches long and maybe 5 pounds! I picked him up and just about cried. How could someone want to put him down. Im so glad the rescue group took Limo and his brother Baldo in. He was a little shy when I first picked him up. After showering him with kisses I went over to one of the booths and bought him his first sweater jacket. He was shivering so bad from the cold and Im sure nerves. He looked adorable! I am so lucky to have him and I coudln't wait to get him home and introduce him to Link!!
